Activities 2003-2004   

Visit to "Chara Chavani" (29 Feb. 2004)

The students of the institutions visited "Chara Chavani" at various places at Sangli District. They interviewed the agriculturalists and the administrative officers along with a questionnaire with an intension to know their problems there. The students have prepared a Project Report from the data collected and submitted the same to Shri. Mane Saheb.


Legal Aid Camps (13 Nov. 2003)

During this academic year four legal Aid and Legal Literacy camps were organized in different villages like Jaygavhan, Dongarwadi,Savlaj and Bramhanal.

Debate competition (30 Dec. 2003)

To bring out the hidden talents of the students the college arranged a debate competition in which 30 students from different classes actively participated. To solve the psychological problems of the students Prof. K. B. Tambake and Prof. Me. R. M. Hatkanglekar experts in psychology were invited to deliver lecture on personality development and counsel our students. The students were really benefited to a greater extent by the same.

Traditional Day (1 Jan. 2004)

Heartiest welcome to the New Year 2004 was given by the students of this institution by presenting themselves in various  Traditional dresses. Traditional programmes were also conducted by the students.


Alumni Association

In order to have a relation with the past students of this college. "Alumni Association" was formed under the chairmanship of Adv. V. S. Sakale. This meet was arranged and inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Adv. Nitin Pradhan, Senior Advocate, High Court,  Mumbai who is also the past students of this college. About 200 students participated in this meet. Various activities to refresh the memories of the past students were also conducted in the said meeting.

NACC Visit

For performance evalution, assessment and accreditation and quality up gradation of institutions of higher education the NACC visited our college on 22, 23 and 24 September 2003 under the chairmanship of Dr. Ranbir sing. The Principal, Staff and Students of the college gave a warm welcome to the peer team. Peer teem had interaction with the principal, Staff Members, Alumni, Parents and Students of the college. The said team visited our gymkhana, legal aid office, library credit Co-operative society and classrooms. They were impressed to a larger extent by all the activities of the college and the result was reflected in the form of B+ gradation (i.e. five star) with 78.5 percent score. 

Guidance to the Candidate Appearing for Competitive Examination (1 Nov. 2003)

As a part of welfare programme our college has organized programme for the "Guidance to the Candidate Appearing for Competitive Examination" for the post of civil Judge, Junior Judge and Judicial magistrate first Class by M.P.S.C. between 1st November 2003 and 15 January 2004. The renowned Judges from Sangli court and the principal and vice-principal of the said college conducted the classes. We are also proud to say that 25 to 30 percent students appeared for the competitive exam from our guidance bureau got victory in the same.

Adv. K. B. Kayastha Fourth state Level Moot Court Competition ( 25 Jan. 2004)

Adv. K. B. Kayastha Fourth State Level Moot Court Competition was organized by the college in the month of January 2004. The auspicious hands Adv. S. T. Jadhav, Member, Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa inaugurated the said competition. Shri. R. G. Auchat, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kolhapur, Retd. Judge Shri C. T. Patil, Sr. Advocate Arvind Shah and Adv. M. D. Wagh constituted the quorum of Judges of the said moot court. 13 colleges from different part of Maharashtra participated in this competition. Government law College, Mumbai occupied the position of winner team and Manikchand Pahade Law college, Aurangabad occupied the position of runner team. Mr. Rahul Kadam student of our college got the individual price for the best memorial and the individual prize of Best Advocate was divided between Mr. Gourish M. Kudchadkar of G. R. Kare College of Law, Margao-Goa and Mr. Bharat Raichandani of Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, Mumbai.
